The American Red Cross serving Central and South Texas in partnership with the Austin Public Library invites you to honor local heroes in our community and relive the history of the American Red Cross and it’s 138 years of providing hope and humanitarian aid.

About the Exhibit
The Austin Public Library, The Austin History Center, and the Red Cross are proud to feature photography, artifacts, and personal stories, detailing the growth and the development of the Red Cross, including, disaster relief efforts, nursing in support of the U.S. military, the collection of blood, and countless lifesaving programs.
