Advanced Child Care Training w/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7821.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and effective I did the online CPR class for the first time, and admittedly was a bit skeptical about how effective an online CPR class could possibly be. I loved it! It was very interactive, and had you practice/ repeat the basics as you progressed in level and learned new skills. Since I did it on my computer, I also found it very easy to take notes and save snap shots in a Word document for easy future reference. I believe I actually learned and retained the information better than I have from an in person CPR class, and I had much more fun doing so (and it was SO much easier for me than scheduling a class, plus cheaper too). Thank you for offering this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED 7/17/17 Me and my team had to take this course for our job and we absolutely loved it. The online not too much and it was very annoying although I understood that the purpose was to imbed it into you thought process. Now, the instructional portion was one to remember. Instructor Sinil, was simply awesome. I have never had anyone make this course as interesting and fun then this gentle here. His interaction toward the class, his timeframe, his knowledge base is one that you can notvteach. Thank you for the opportunity to grow and have a better chance to save a life. When it becomes times for me to renew I will be searching for his class as my instructor again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blended Course Available I really appreciated the blended course format since the CPR courses I have taken in the past are six hours. The videos helped make learning the material and content more enjoyable and memorable. I would suggest including more information about pediatric First Aid. As an early childhood educator, I did not receive as much information about caring for children in an emergency situation (i.e. what to do if there is a twig sticking out of a child's eye) as past courses have provided. Some more information similar to this example would be helpful. The instructor was willing to help students in the class and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Complaint I was certified in a Red Cross Classroom with an instructor about 10 years ago.  My certification expired after 2 years.  A few days ago, I paid $25 to take the Red Cross on-line course thinking I could renew or get new certification.  I spent more than 4 hours take the courses (all three levels).  The on-line courses where better than the classroom version.  However, after completing the on-line Red Cross courses, I received nothing.  No certification, no recertification, no certificate of completion...nothing.  The on-line courses were awesome, but the Red Cross basically told me they were no good for certification.  I spent 4 hours for nothing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasted Time The classroom portion was supposed to get started at 9am, but did not get started until 10am. It was late due to technical issues, that the staff was aware of before the class started but didn't worry about resolving until 9am. I was also under the impression that the classroom portion was supposed to be mostly hands-on, but instead we watched most of the same videos that we had to watch for the online portion. Also, since the class was an hour late getting started, it ran an hour over the end time, making me an hour late to work. So, I was an hour late to work, to watch videos that I had already watch online for the course.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FerenceedSolid Foundation/Review I was seeking a First Aid/CPR/AED course since I was going to be taking jobs in healthcare and education when I found this certification was also available. I thought it was a useful addition to that training and like that there is a certification with reference number. I liked the online format and quick access to the information. It seemed as though the quizzing could have been more challenging in order to better retain the information later. I also wish the certification was for 2 years. Renewing every year could become expensive. Otherwise it provided a good foundation or a quick refresher for those with prior training or knowledge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Children Learning to Babysit The Babysitting package was perfect for what it was. The package explained how to get a interview, how to get a resumé, etc. It also explained how to dress so your comfortable, and how to take care of the child of he/she has a nose bleed or injury such as a scrape, etc. The package comes with free printout, the printout are fact sheets on how to hold a baby, bottle and spoon feed infants and toddlers, changing a diaper, how to perpare a baby bottle, etc. I thought this Babysitting course was the perfect thing for teens and young adults. The course was filled with information which you don't have to read because the course is all videos and little learning games, which makes learning easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for renewing certification This was a wonderful option for re-certifying. I am a scout leader with small children and am required to be First Aid/CPR certified. However finding time to sit through a course to be re-certified AND finding childcare is a really difficult task. This was the perfect option. I could sit down and take the course after they went to bed and be reminded of the important aspects. I do NOT recommend this for a first time certification but not because it isn't thorough. Rather because I believe every person needs the hands on experience that is only possible with an in person course.
