New! Provisional Certification Training for First Aid/CPR/AED and Basic Life Support (BLS)
This new format provides the flexibility you need to train now. New and recertifying students can complete the online portion of this blended learning course and receive a provisional certification. Learners have 90 days to complete the skills session to receive their 2-year Red Cross certification. First Aid/CPR/AED certification meets OSHA requirements. Basic Life Support certification is also valid for two years.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Training
New and recertifying customers will complete the online portion of their blended learning class and receive a Provisional Certificate which allows the student 90 days before taking the Instructor-led skills session to receive their 2-year Red Cross certification.
These courses are available through the Red Cross Learning Center or on redcross.org. The provisional certification will be available in the Red Cross Learning Center in the “Find My Certification” section.

- How do I become a Red Cross Licensed Training Provider (LTP)?
An LTP is an independent business that trains others and charges their students for training. Your organization must be a registered LLC or Inc. In addition, you will need to carry your own insurance, cover your start-up and ongoing associated costs. - What if I am just interested in training within my company?
An Authorized Provider (AP) is a certified Red Cross instructor who is designated to train employees within their own organization. Visit Train My Employees to learn more about AP certification.
- Can LTPs teach something other than First Aid, CPR & AED training?
