Part 1: Online Learning

Part 2: In-Person or Virtual Skills Session
Training Options During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Whether you need First Aid/CPR/AED training to satisfy an OSHA-mandated job requirement or are just looking to keep your loved ones safe, the American Red Cross offers a two-part provisional certification course to meet your training needs.
Here's how it works:
- Successfully complete the online portion of the two-part blended learning course and receive a provisional certificate stating that the online training has been successfully completed. You will have up to 1 year for the skills test to be taken.
- After a successful skills test within 1 year, a 2-year, OSHA-compliant Red Cross certification will be issued. You will have access to Red Cross online content for a full year so that you can refresh your knowledge before the skills test.

If you need an immediate 2-year, OSHA-compliant certification, sign up for our in-person classes for First Aid/CPR/AED. These classes use social distancing approaches and comply with public health guidance. Instructors use a combination of virtual skills training and testing so that they are not in a room together with students.
