Newfields (formerly the Indianapolis Museum of Art):
4000 N Michigan Rd
Indianapolis, IN 46208
Plug “Newfields, Indianapolis” into your GPS, and use the main entrance approximately a block west of the corner of 38th and Michigan Road (which—don’t be confused—is called Martin Luther King Jr. Street south of 38th). There’s a stoplight there, and a big sign. Turn north into the lot.
Upon the death of her husband in 1901, Mrs. Benjamin Harrison commissioned Tiffany to create a window in his memory. The window was installed in 1905 at the First Presbyterian Church, 16th and Delaware Streets, Indianapolis, where the president had served as an elder for more than 40 years.
