Margaret Arbini Madonna, Executive Director, Greater Long Beach, Rio Hondo and South Bay Chapter

Margaret Arbini Madonna has been with the American Red Cross for 11 years, serving as Public Support Officer, Financial Development Officer and Executive Director for the Greater Long Beach, Rio Hondo and South Bay area. She is a trained Red Cross Public Information Officer and has served on numerous Red Cross disaster assignments throughout the country including tornadoes, transportation accidents, large fires and urban floods. Prior to joining the Red Cross, Margaret spent 25 years in the publishing industry working on newspapers and magazines, including a stint for the International Journalism Foundation in Quito, Ecuador. She is fluent in Spanish. Margaret proudly serves the 44 communities in the southeast section of Los Angeles County and is a member of the Rotary Club and various chambers of commerce throughout the area.

The Board of Directors is the governing body for the Greater Long Beach, Rio Hondo and South Bay Chapter and is composed of representatives from many different community sectors. This group develops the vision for our chapter and determines the policies that guide our decisions. The Board ensures that the chapters are an effective steward of our donors’ contributions.
