When we aren’t responding to disasters, we are helping others get ready. Help prepare the community by hosting and presenting preparedness presentations, such as the Pillowcase Project, and by canvassing your neighborhood with fire safety information.
Get your club trained in life-saving skills such as CPR and First Aid through Red Cross-led certification classes. Youth volunteers can become assistant instructors -- learn how to facilitate First Aid and CPR classes and hold Safe Kids Day events in your community.
Give back to the men and women who have served our country by participating in events and programs that support members of the Armed Forces.
Assist the International humanitarian mission of the Red Cross by fundraising for international disasters and teaching others about International Humanitarian Law.
In the states of Colorado and Wyoming, the American Red Cross does not collect blood. However, if you are interested in hosting a blood drive at your school, contact YouthServicesColorado@redcross.org for more information about the organization that collects blood in your geographic area.
