The American Red Cross Mid-Florida Region works with a global network of Red Cross, Red Crescent and equivalent societies to restore hope and dignity to the world’s vulnerable people.
Armed conflict and natural disaster leave millions of people around the globe in urgent need of humanitarian assistance each year. When families and loved ones are separated by war or disaster, their suffering is greater. The American Red Cross helps ease this suffering by helping local families find loved ones overseas, send messages back and forth and in some cases reunite them. All tracing services are confidential and free of charge.
The American Red Cross Mid-Florida Region International Services can be used if:
Families have been separated as a result of either armed conflict or disaster.
As much as possible, families should have tried normal channels of communication before requesting Red Cross tracking services.
The family member making the inquiry provides essential information on the person they are seeking.
The family member making the inquiry is a close family relative, who has been in direct contact with the person they are seeking before the conflict or disaster occurred.
