The Capital Area Chapter offers several free preparedness programs to help community groups, nonprofits and government agencies prepare for emergencies. Our professional presenters facilitate these onsite trainings for adults and children. Trainings provide participants with knowledge, skills and resources to be better prepared for emergencies. In addition to trainings, we participate in many local community events and fairs. Community preparedness programs and resources are available in a variety of languages and can be customized to fit specific audience needs.
We help increase public awareness by helping the community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
