In times of big disasters, businesses contribute to the American Red Cross for a particular disaster, but many do not realize that the most frequent disasters in the United States affects one family at a time. These disasters are house fires. The Southeast Georgia volunteers respond to an average of one (sometimes two) house fires a day.
The American Red Cross of Southeast and Coastal Georgia does not receive government funding for disaster services. Instead, we rely on the generosity of individual donors and companies like you. Your partnership with the Red Cross can provide disaster relief, First Aid and CPR training, funding for education, community disaster education and more.
Every company, whatever its size, can establish a meaningful partnership with us. A partnership can help your organization enhance the skills, confidence, safety and readiness of your employees as well as provide us with resources we need to continue to help our communities prepare and respond to disasters.
