From providing aid after unspeakable tragedies, to feeding hungry children and caring for the sick, the Indiana Red Cross has been saving lives since 1916.
Not only have these brave volunteers risked their own lives for generations, they have reached out and cared for many; providing warmth and comfort when hope seemed to be lost, and cheering the lonely with their company.
From health and safety classes to lifesaving blood collection, and through our support of military members, their families, and veterans, the Red Cross has helped to make our community safer and more prepared for what may come in the next 100 years.
Throughout 2016 our region will be commemorating the many past and present contributions of the Red Cross and its volunteers through a series of community events.

Join us in celebrating 100 years of compassionate service in the Indiana community with a once in a lifetime Celebration on the Circle! We’ve partnered with Big Car Collaborative to create an original mural that highlights our history in Indiana, and we’re inviting painters from across our community to come out and make their mark on Red Cross history. This free, public event will begin at 6:00 PM and conclude at 10:00 PM. We'll have featured drinks, food trucks, live music, life-size games and more!
For a more intimate affair, join us at our exclusive VIP reception overlooking the Circle, beginning at 5:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. With your investment, you’ll enjoy an evening of complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres at a fabulous cocktail celebration. Guests will paint a piece of the community mural and mingle with our closest Red Cross friends and family at this casual celebration.
Afterwards, join us on the Circle for an after-party under the stars as we honor the Hoosiers who established a legacy of community resiliency and safety in Indiana. Together, we will celebrate our past, enhance our community, and prepare for the future.
