American Red Cross of Minnesota

A Century of Service

Help us celebrate. Help us prepare.

In 1917, as the United States entered World War I, the American Red Cross emerged as the leading social services charity. In Minnesota, 20 percent of all residents had joined the Red Cross.

Since then, we have served millions of people through disaster relief, preparedness education, health and safety education, service to armed forces, and reconnection for families separated by conflict.
