The American Red Cross Community Preparedness and Resiliency Award recognizes the contributions of businesses, schools, organizations and individuals who help build resilient communities.
Those honored have increased the ability of our community to “bounce back” after a disaster. Winners have improved the capacity of the region to withstand, quickly adapt to and successfully recover from a disaster by improving the community’s response:
Whether preparing for a natural or man-made event, thanks to these efforts, the St. Louis area is better able to recover in a healthy and timely manner. The awards will highlight best practices in building community preparedness and resiliency. Examples might include:
