Restaurants Active in Disaster Relief (RADR)

  • Restaurants Active in Disaster Relief (RADR)

The American Red Cross is looking to form a network of restaurants and other food service providers that are willing to donate meals to communities affected by disaster. In the aftermath of a disaster a lot of good food goes to waste when commitments are cancelled or the power goes out. Donate your meals to disaster relief! Contributions above $250 are tax deductible. And if your restaurant has been impacted, we may be able to help you continue modified operations.

Because waiting to help would be a disaster.

Vendors should join the program where they have the option to do the following:

  • Meal Donations
  • Meal Production
  • RADR Planning Committee
  • Access to kitchen facilities
  • Volunteer staff for meal production
  • Volunteer staff for site supervision and mentoring
  • Volunteer staff site as food service providers at field locations
  • Material resources for meal production and/or meal distribution
  • For more information, please contact (212) 875-2278.
