All day, every day, the Red Cross connects service members with their families back home when an emergency strikes.
The Red Cross partners with the military aid societies to help service members and their families get emergency financial assistance 24/7.
The Red Cross provides counseling, guidance, information, referrals and other social services for all military personnel and their families.
Before, during and after deployments, the Red Cross provides training, information and support for military members and their families.
Your local American Red Cross is asking you to Give Something that Means Something to our veterans and their families all year long. Help us build comfort care kits to provide these military heroes with simple personal care items many of us take for granted.
In 2015 we formed a working committee to step up what we offer to military families. There are countless numbers of agencies and organizations that exist to help military members and their families, but they are not always known to you. It has become our mission to communicate that information to every Military family in the Western and Central NY Region. That is the inspiration for preparing these documents to link you to all that is available depending on your location and need.
Currently completed and available: Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Madison, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Oswego, Tioga, Tompkins, Tri County Guide (Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben) and Wayne Counties.
