Event Sponsorship

Corporate involvement in the Dayton-Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is a meaningful and effective way to invest in the welfare of the community, increase sales and boost corporate image. Businesses that give to the Red Cross may also directly support services needed and utilized by their employees and customers. Some of the many ways to become involved with the Red Cross include:

Sponsor an Event
Sponsoring an event hosted by the Dayton-Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is a great way to both make an unrestricted gift and ensure your company is a visible partner with the Red Cross, while also enjoying a top-notch experience. Sponsorship options include:

  • Volunteer Salute Luncheon, our annual recognition event for volunteers each April
  • The Clara Barton Classic, our annual golf tournament each June.

Be Ready 365
The Ready 365 Program is a corporate philanthropy program that offers a range of packages that fit the giving abilities of every company. Each level provides visible recognition through high-traffic communications channels and each spotlights particular gifts in front of other Red Cross supporters, from recognition on the Red Cross website to co-branding opportunities.

Match Your Employees' Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs that double or even triple the value of a donor’s gift. This is a great way to both honor your employees and support the Red Cross at the same time

Train Your Employees
Medical emergencies and accidents on the job cost American companies billions of dollars each year in lost wages, health care expenses, lawsuits and worker's compensation claims. Reduce these costs by teaching your employees how to prevent workplace emergencies and how to properly respond to them when they do occur. The Red Cross will even bring our first aid, CPR and AED trainers to your business

In Kind Donation
The Dayton-Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is unable to accept small, individual items or collections of items such as clothing, food or cleaning supplies. We recommend such items be donated to one of our community partners, St. Vincent de Paul.

Donations of sizeable, bulk items are reviewed to determine if they meet a current need for disaster victims that can be addressed by the Red Cross. Bulk donations are typically new, shrink-wrapped and palletized items, and they are transported by the donor.
