Our corporate volunteer program, Ready When the Time Comes (RWTC), is designed to tap into corporate America’s expertise and desire to help people in need. The American Red Cross trains employees from partnering corporations and mobilizes them as a community-based volunteer force when disaster strikes. We’re working with corporations around the country to establish partnerships and train thousands of Ready When the Times Comes volunteers.
In 2011, the program marked its tenth anniversary. It currently features 14,000 trained volunteers from more than 460 businesses and organizations in 54 cities. Contact us for more information on how to get your company or organization involved!
The American Red Cross is the leading provider of health and safety training that meets OSHA guidelines and many other professional and regulatory standards. We offer our courses in many different formats including classroom, online, onsite training, etc. We also offer National Accounts with the convenience of a single package – with one fee, one invoice and one single point of contact.– perfect for companies or organizations spread out across multiple states. Visit the training section of our website for more information or to contact one of our customer service representatives.
Is your business or organization prepared for emergency? If you’re like most of us, the answer is no, you’re not as prepared as you would like to be. It can be difficult to know where to begin – and where to go from there. That’s why we created the American Red Cross Ready Rating™, a first-of-its-kind membership program designed to help businesses, organizations and schools become better prepared for emergencies.
Members join this free, self-paced program and complete a 123-point self-assessment of your level of preparedness to reveal areas for improvement.
You’ll learn tips and best practices so you don’t feel like you’re alone out there. And most importantly, members make a commitment to improve their readiness score each year – because preparedness is a continuous process and not a one-time effort.
