The American Red Cross has been the go-to resource for health and safety training—first aid, CPR, AED, water safety—for more than a century. These skills are vital to saving lives and preparing a community for the everyday disasters that can strike without warning. The Red Cross not only trains individuals, but instructors, healthcare workers and professional rescuers as well.
In addition to basic and advanced courses, the Red Cross offers specialized training course in areas such as pet first aid, pediatric first aid, babysitter training, advanced childcare training, sports first aid and wilderness first aid. Some courses offer professional certification and CEU credits.
Courses are taught at the local chapter, as well as in schools, businesses, churches, libraries and other locations throughout the area.
