Red Cross Club Member: Fulfill the core purpose of a Red Cross Club by developing and organizing at least three American Red Cross mission-driven activities during the school year that support local and national American Red Cross initiatives. You’ll help plan and implement projects that save lives, from blood drives to disaster preparedness education. Students interested in the Red Cross Club Member volunteer opportunity will need to start a Red Cross Club at their school if one isn’t currently operating. Youth Mission Advocate: Plan and implement at least one Red Cross activity to support the Red Cross mission and make a difference in your community.
International Law Youth Action Campaign Advocate: Supports the Regional Service to the Armed Forces department to raise awareness and promote the values of International Humanitarian Law in your community.
Youth Corps Blood Donor Ambassador: Volunteers, ages 13-24, join the Red Cross as a Donor Ambassador volunteer, committing to volunteer service over the summer months or other school breaks. *Opportunity currently available seasonally, May-August.
Academic Service-Learning Volunteer: Colleges and other academic programs partner with the Red Cross to foster an environment where students learn about themselves and the community by taking action through volunteer service. In Northern Ohio, AS-L volunteers support blood drives and Event Based volunteer opportunities, such as the Disaster Preparedness Home Fire Campaign.
