The “Heroes Breakfast” has grown out of a desire to present an event that is closely related to the mission of the American Red Cross, helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. We celebrate the best of the human spirit by honoring local individuals who have shown courage, kindness and quick thinking by their actions. Without doubt, our communities are strengthened by their deeds.

Honorees are nominated by the public and selected by a local review panel. The nominees are members of communities in Clinton, Lycoming and Tioga Counties.

The Heroes Breakfast also serves as a fundraising event, to help fulfill the Red Cross Mission in our communities. Proceeds will support the services provided by your local Red Cross. But, more importantly, it is a reminder that ordinary people do extraordinary things every day!
