You've come to the right place! It is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things.
American Red Cross Utah Region volunteers:
- Respond to disasters—from house fires to hurricanes—to help alleviate the suffering of disaster victims both locally and nationwide
- Support active duty military members and their families, and veterans through our Service to Armed Forces program
- And much more!
The Utah Region offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for youth (ages 14-18) and for adults (ages 18 and above.) Internships are also available. We need your skills and abilities, so learn more and get started now!
As of January 1, 2013 we do not have any short-term volunteer opportunities to support court ordered community service hours. Please call 2-1-1 if you need a list of agencies who can assist you in completing your required hours.
Looking to volunteer on a regular basis? There are a variety of opportunities available for you to join us daily, weekly, and monthly!
Volunteers ages 14-18 are encouraged to become a part of our Youth Services Program, which offers meaningful opportunities for education, training, and community service in 3 locations across Utah. Learn more about becoming a youth volunteer.

It’s easy to start a Red Cross Club at your high school or college! You can get leadership experience and help others be involved in the community. It looks great on an application for college and jobs AND the things you do may actually save lives.
