Be Red Cross Ready is a national, standardized preparedness education program for adults taught by a certified presenter. The curriculum is designed to help people understand, prepare for, and respond appropriately to year-round disasters like home fires and local hazards like hurricanes.
Facilitators will walk businesses, schools or organizations through the free Red Cross Ready Rating program. This free, simple, online, step-by-step program makes developing an Emergency Action Plan easy.
Hands-only CPR is an easy-to-learn skill that could save a life. This free training session lasts approximately 30 minutes. Participants will learn a sequence of steps to deliver care and practice the technique on a compression-only practice tool. *CPR certification is not provided through this course. Prepare with Pedro is a 30- to 45-minute preparedness education program for grades K-2 that teaches students how to "be prepared" and "take action".
