  • Plan ahead to have extra necessary medications on-hand during storm seasons so you can bring a two-week supply if you must evacuate.

  • Reach out to your county’s emergency management to find out how to plan for your pet if a disaster strikes and you have to evacuate.

  • If you must evacuate and have nowhere to go but a shelter, be sure to bring a pillow, blanket, & folding lounge chair for sleeping

  • Check your disaster kit each year to be sure nothing is expired, & keep your kit in a waterproof container.
