Fill out an Application
Complete your volunteer application online and create your Volunteer Connection login. Once you submit an application, you will receive an email with a link to activate your Volunteer Connection account. This link will direct you to your Volunteer Connection homepage that contains the list of next steps to complete your volunteer application.
Attend an Orientation
Find out more about becoming an American Red Cross Capital Region Chapter volunteer at one of our free volunteer orientations. During the orientation, you will learn about the mission of the American Red Cross and its programs, as well as gain a greater understanding of the vital role our volunteers play and the opportunities available to you. Complete a background check
Following your orientation; you will need to fill out a background check. You can then contact your local Red Cross office to schedule a one-on-one interview where we'll discuss your skills and interests and identify a volunteer position for you!
