First Aid and Preparedness Curriculum for Youth

First Aid and Preparedness (FAP) is a program for K-12 youth which mirrors our “Be Red Cross Ready” course offered to adults in the community.

This program is a free, non-certificate course aimed at equipping and empowering youth to take action in their communities, schools and homes with the disaster preparedness and basic first aid information that is provided. To become an instructor, a Red Cross volunteer must attend a First Aid and Preparedness Train-the-Trainer workshop for youth audiences.
