Q & A

Who can join?

Behind The Red is geared toward active professionals seeking to develop skills, gain experience and network for a cause. Members are recommended to have at least three years of professional experience.

What does it take to be a member?

Professionals can join Behind The Red either as a member of a Leadership Committee or as a General Member.

There are three Leadership Committees dedicated to communications/advocacy, fundraising and volunteerism. Committee members attend monthly meetings and support engagement in Behind The Red activities.

Want to join, but unsure of your time commitment? That’s okay! General Members will be able to support Behind The Red initiatives like raising funds to pay for a new Red Cross Disaster Response Vehicle. By getting your friends, families and colleagues involved, you can make a huge difference.

What are the benefits?

Joining a Leadership Committee provides the benefit of opportunities to build your resume and professional skills, network with Red Cross leaders and peers and give back to the community.

Becoming a General Member means having opportunities to support the Red Cross in meaningful ways that fulfill your passion to give back and fit your schedule.
