Clark County Pet Therapy
The Pet Therapy program started in 2006 as a community service of the Clark County Red Cross in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Newman, the "founding member", has visited many local nursing homes, disaster shelters, rehab facilities and assisted-living facilities in the Southern Indiana and Louisville area. The program has grown with a second team of volunteer handlers and trained dogs operating out of the Fort Knox military base.
