  • Disaster Action Team (DAT) Member:

    DAT members respond to disasters on the local level, including house fires, wildfires, floods, and major weather events. As a DAT member, you will help allocate Red Cross resources to meet the immediate needs of those affected by disasters.

  • Media Volunteer:

    Do you enjoy going on camera and giving interviews? As a Montana Red Cross media volunteer, you are the spokesperson for the Red Cross in your community. We will train you to work with your local media, to talk about the services we deliver, and to help us attract volunteers and donations. If you want to be the public face of the Red Cross in your community and help us help others, this is the volunteer position for you!

  • Service to the Armed Forces Caseworker:

    The Red Cross needs volunteers to contact military members and their families to ensure their needs were met by our emergency communication services. If additional services are needed, the caseworker will coordinate these additional resources.

  • Clerical Volunteer:

    The Red Cross programs would not function without the help of our office volunteers, who assist with data entry, mailings, answering calls, and much more.

    American Red Cross Biomedical Services will fulfill the needs of the American people for the safest, most reliable and cost-effective blood services through voluntary donations. Be a part of the team that helps save lives!

  • Volunteer Services

    The Volunteer Services Team helps new volunteers begin their Red Cross career.

  • Volunteer Engagement Lead, AKA The L.O.V.E Team (Leaders of Volunteer Engagement):

    Work with each line of service as the subject matter experts in volunteer leadership development. Works to guide volunteers through the onboarding process, review volunteer hours reports monthly to identify early who may need more support and/or provide personalized career development to ensure volunteers are doing what they love and accessing Red Cross training and resources. This team creates a feedback loop for departmental actions to encourage retention and growth. Organizes and hosts department-level volunteer meetings to promote volunteer satisfaction.

  • Volunteer Recognition and Appreciation Lead, AKA The Sunshine Team:

    Create and monitor volunteer milestones to catch and celebrate volunteers at their best. Volunteers work with Disaster Cycle Services, Service to the Armed Forces, International Services, Communications, Fundraising, Volunteer Service, Board of Directors and Community Volunteer Leaders.

  • Volunteer Connection Lead, AKA The Computer Guru Team:

    Create a regional multi-system help desk. Volunteers to be trained in Red Cross system support and administration functions. These volunteers will support all lines of service. Team will be trained on six to eight Red Cross platforms including Volunteer Connection, EDGE, DCSOps, CAS and Agentlite. Most help desk questions relate to browser, pop-up blockers, changing emails and passwords issues.
