Welcome to the American Red Cross serving the Permian Basin of TX

Permian Basin Area Chapter reaches thousands of our neighbors in West Texas…

You are not alone during a disaster.
Families experiencing a crisis, such as a fire, flood, and tornadoes are not left out in the cold. They receive shelter, food, clothing, comfort, counseling, and other basic necessities. Over 85 of our neighbors received this help last year.

Be Red Cross Ready.
Our community is being prepared for disasters with over 4,000 people trained on disaster readiness.

Trained. Empowered. Prepared.
Over 24,000 of our neighbors learned how to save lives and be safe in their community through First Aid, CPR, AED, water safety, pet first aid, and babysitting classes taught through our office.

Helping our Armed Forces with Emergency Services.
Military families remain in touch with their loved ones during family emergencies and major events, such as the birth of a child, through our 24-hour emergency assistance network. Over 400 local families were helped last year.

You can help too!
