The recipient has identified a community need and created a program, service or otherwise taken action to address that need.
Clara Barton Award: This award honors an individual who embodies the values and traits of the American Red Cross founder, Clara Barton. The recipient shows extraordinary commitment to alleviating human suffering and inspires others through their actions.

The 2024 Nissan Lifesaver Luncheon presented by Randy & Jennifer Wolcott and Kevin & Katie Crumbo was held April 11, 2024 at Belmont University’s Curb Event Center and raised $507,540 to support the organization’s mission of preventing and alleviating human suffering.
Moderated by Rhori Johnston, this year’s event honored three community partners whose passion and commitment to supporting others makes an ongoing indelible impact on the Nashville area and beyond: Stephan Durham received the Disaster Services Award, Nashville Fire Department was recognized with the Community Partner Award, and Lisa Williams was presented with the Good Samaritan Award and the Lifesaving Award.
