Matching Gifts and Workplace Giving

Contributions from Employees Mean So Much
Companies and their employees can support the important work of the American Red Cross. Red Cross staff and volunteers offer critical services that make a daily impact in the communities where you live and work in. When you donate through the workplace, you can make a difference in down the street, across the country and around the world.
Matching Gifts: Double the Impact of Your Donation
Your gift to the American Red Cross could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer! Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees, retirees and/or employees’ spouses. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, please enter your employer's name below.

Completing the Matching Gift Form

If your company matches donations made to the Red Cross, here are two ways to initiate the matching gift contribution:

1. If your company uses an online matching gift platform, submit a matching gift verification request through your company’s online portal using the address of the Red Cross location where you made your contribution (chapter or national headquarters).

2. Obtain the appropriate matching gift verification form from your personnel/human resources office. Confirm the organizations official name and complete the form. If you made your donation through Red Cross national headquarters or, please email, mail or fax the form and a copy of your receipt to:

Participate in Your Workplace Giving Campaign
Each year, thousands of employees are given the opportunity to direct a portion of their paycheck to the charities of their choice through workplace giving. If the American Red Cross is offered as a donation option in your company’s workplace giving program, please elect to support us. Here are some other ways that you may support the Red Cross through the workplace each year.
  • Your Company’s Campaign: During a workplace giving campaign, usually taking place in the fall, companies will give employees opportunities to donate to and volunteer with causes they care about. Ask your company how you can donate to the Red Cross during your campaign, and to find out more about volunteer opportunities in your community, contact your local chapter.
  • Federal Employees: To designate the Red Cross in your Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), enter our CFC agency code 10266 on your campaign pledge form.
  • State and Local Government Employees: Many states and municipal government offer employees an opportunity to donate to causes they care about. Ask how you can donate to the Red Cross during your campaign, and to find out more about volunteer opportunities in your community, contact your local chapter.
