Dear Corporate Supporter,

Thank you for your interest in supporting the American Red Cross this holiday season! Our annual Holiday Campaign taps the desire to Give Something that Means Something this time of year, inspiring acts of goodness and emphasizing that the holidays are about giving back. Our campaign will encourage the public to #GiveWithMeaning by making a financial donation, donating life-saving blood, giving symbolic gifts through our Online Holiday Giving Page and sharing heartwarming stories of the people we’ve been able to help. Here are some ways that your company can align with our efforts, showcase your support and engage the public in support of our lifesaving mission through your social media channels – throughout the holiday season and on Giving Tuesday (Tues., Nov. 28, 2017).

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact your relationship manager. Thank you again for your support.

Retweet or share any relevant posts from these accounts, and be sure to tag us when sharing your company’s participation.
Encourage your employees to become Social Ambassadors for the Red Cross. Ambassadors help to spread the word about the Red Cross mission. They receive regular updates with stories, videos and messages they can share with their friends and family to inspire others to get involved. Those who want to become Red Cross Ambassadors can sign up and find messages to share from

Consider leveraging your social channels to empower your fans and followers to take action – and share that action – in support of the American Red Cross. On #GivingTuesday, promote the need for financial support or blood donations on Facebook or Twitter, and offer to provide a dollar match for every time the post is shared or retweeted. Be sure to work with your Red Cross relationship manager to execute the proper agreement for a social fundraising campaign.

Encourage fans, followers and/or employees to donate, volunteer with their Red Cross chapter, give blood or take a CPR class….and SHARE IT on their social platforms with the #GiveWithMeaning or #RedCross hashtags.

You can tweet to the @RedCross account as well - our digital communities love seeing your support. Tweet in any way you feel aligns with our mission, or you can tweet messages similar to these:
