It has been an intense eight days for the Greater New York Red Cross. Since the tragic explosion in the East Village on March 26, 2014, Red Cross staff from across the region has helped provide comfort and care to hundreds of disaster survivors and first responders. The relief effort will continue for as long as needed.

Our incredible volunteers, employees and community partners are all “Everyday Heroes” who have demonstrated a tireless dedication to help those affected by this tragedy. During this time, we’ve seen the community at its best, pulling together to help our neighbors in need.
