American Red Cross Announces Volunteer Orientation Sessions

Volunteers are the heart of the Red Cross. More than 2,000 volunteers support the Central-Southeast Ohio Region and more are needed. Attend a Volunteer Orientation to learn about the many opportunities that exist in Franklin County. Reserve a seat by completing a volunteer application here:

A critical need exists for volunteer drivers with the Red Cross Community Transportation Program. The service provides transportation for seniors and medically fragile residents to their medical appointments using Red Cross vehicles. Volunteer drivers drive a portion of more than 14,000 trips a year within Franklin County. Volunteers must be 21-years-old or older and have a valid Ohio driver’s license and good driving record.
