As part of the 2013 Heroes Campaign, restaurants across the Tri-State are taking a pledge to donate a percentage of their sales to the American Red Cross on Wednesday, April 24. We are encouraging members of the community to take part in this event by dining out at the participating restaurants to help support the mission of the Red Cross and the 2013 Heroes Campaign.
The Heroes Campaign is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Red Cross with a total goal of $200,000. “This year’s Dine Out event will help raise a significant portion of that goal, and we ask everyone to take the time out of their day to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner on April 24 at the restaurants that have partnered up with the Red Cross,” said Regional CEO Amy Canterbury.
Every dollar customers spend at local eating establishments not only helps our local economy, but also helps fund critical Red Cross services like disaster relief, CPR & First Aid training, Blood Collection, Services to Armed Forces and more.
Please consider dining out on April 24 to ensure the Red Cross is there to help your friends, neighbors and community members when and if they need us. To find the entire list of restaurants you can Dine Out at to support the Red Cross visit www.tristateredcross.org.
