American Red Cross Provides Assistance at Manchester Fire

American Red Cross New Hampshire’s Disaster Action Team Volunteers have met with clients following a fire on Second Street in Manchester today.

Concord, NH, April 25, 2013 - American Red Cross New Hampshire’s Disaster Action Team Volunteers have met with clients following a fire on Second Street in Manchester today. John Moore, Kim Richards, Michelle McFadden, Wade dos Santos, and Tory Hall provided five adults and two children ages 3 and 4 with immediate financial assistance for food, clothing, lodging and linens. A family cat has been found safe.

The American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams (DAT) are groups of local volunteers located throughout the state that are specially trained to provide disaster relief and emotional comfort. These volunteers are available to respond at any time of day or night to disasters in their communities or surrounding towns.
