American Red Cross responds to children’s needs following Townsend home fire fatality


Townsend – November 20, 2012 – Volunteers from the American Red Cross responded to yesterday’s early morning home fire in Townsend that took the life of one person. Three children escaped the blaze. The Red Cross met with the children’s aunt and uncle, who are from Georgia, to provide shelter, food, clothing, comfort kits, emotional support and other emergency needs.
