The Central Virginia Chapter recently welcomed its new Executive Director, Nick Rader, to the area. Rader came from Colorado to join the 96-year old chapter based in Charlottesville. The organization is known in the community as a leader in disaster preparedness and response, water safety programs, service to military members and their families, and blood collections.
Rader brings a wealth of experience to his new role and has already discovered that working at the Red Cross is a rewarding experience. Be sure and look for Nick out and about in the community or contact him at the chapter.
