Give Something that Means Something

Give Something that Means Something

During this holiday season, the American Red Cross asks everyone to remember those who depend on the Red Cross for help and give something that means something.

Nearly every second of every day, someone is assisted by the Red Cross – a victim of disaster here at home or around the world, a hospital patient who needs blood, a member of the Armed Forces and so many others.

This year, why not give something that means something by visiting the Red Cross Holiday Giving Catalog and selecting a symbolic gift from the catalog for someone on your list. The gift is tax-deductible and will support Red Cross programs like Disaster Services, Service to the Armed Forces, Blood Services and International Services. The catalog gifts are contributions toward a Red Cross program area, not a donation to a specific project or item.

While supplies last, those who participate will receive free gifts such as a Red Cross Water Bottle for a donation of $100 or more or a Red Cross Fleece Blanket for a donation of $200 or more.

About the American Red Cross:

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
