November 23, 2015 — Non-profits across the country use Giving Tuesday as a chance to share their story and ask for support. This year, the American Red Cross launched a special campaign on social media leading up to Giving Tuesday, highlighting our favorite stories from the past year.
On Saturday, November 21, the national Twitter and Facebook accounts for the Red Cross kicked off ten days of stories from across the organization that have inspired us, humbled us and made us proud to be Red Crossers.
The countdown has stories of everyday heroes in action – stories where taking a lifesaving training course helped to save a life, to volunteers spreading the word in their own communities about fire safety, to our work overseas.
The 10 Days of Giving Back countdown will end Monday, November 30, on the eve of Giving Tuesday.
