Whether you are an outlaw, lawman, heroine, cowpoke or cowgal we hope you will join us for the American Red Cross Night for the Red. It will be a wild evening with complimentary open bar, saloon gambling, good eatin’ and foot stompin’ music.
This year’s theme is the Wild West and ya’ll are encouraged to dress accordingly. Check out Carol’s Western Wear in Glen Burnie or Laurel for a great selection of duds for the occasion. www.carolswesternwear.com/
Tickets start at $85 and are available at www.American.redcross.org/nightforthered. Proceeds from this event enable the Red Cross to provide emergency shelter, food, clothing and other assistance to an average of three families each day in Maryland after disasters—most of them home fires.
More than twice a day the American Red Cross of the Chesapeake Region provides basic needs to disaster victims such as emergency shelter, food, clothing and counseling to Maryland families after disasters thanks to major support from donors to the United Way campaigns in Maryland. Each day the Red Cross also provides lifesaving blood to area hospitals; teaches lifesaving skills; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its humanitarian mission.
