Local Red Crosser Deploying to Help With Ongoing Sandy Response, Heartland Chapter

The American Red Cross of the Heartland is deploying its third volunteer this month to help with ongoing Hurricane Sandy-related Red Cross relief operations.

Mike McKnight, a volunteer and resident of Normal, IL is deploying on February 13 to work as a Logistics Supervisor in New York. It will be Mike's second Sandy-related deployment, having been deployed to the east coast from November 1 through January 20.

Overall, the ARC of the Heartland has deployed nearly 25 local volunteers/staff since Sandy first hit.
