Local Restaurants Support the Red Cross during April


During the month of April, several local Myrtle Beach restaurants will become American Red Cross Heroes by donating a percentage of their sales to support the mission and services of the local Red Cross. Become a Hero and visit the following restaurants throughout the month to support a great cause.

Entire Month of April: Pizza Hut and Pepsi

Pizza Hut and Pepsi have partnered to support the Red Cross with a Meal Deal Special. Visit your local participating Pizza Hut throughout the month.

Monday, April 1, 2013: Drunken Jack’s

Located at 4031 Highway 17 Business overlooking Murrells Inlet and Goat Island along the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet. Serving customers for over 25 years, their menus are full of low country recipes foods for lunch and dinner.

Thursday, April 4, 2013: Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro

The Brentwood is located at 4269 Luck Avenue one block off Highway 17 in Little River. A beautiful Victorian home serving “Low Country French Cru sine.” It offers a beautiful intimate setting in a casual elegant atmosphere.

Monday, April 8, 2013: Dead Dog Saloon

Located at 4079 Hwy 17 Business, overlooking the Inlet and along the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet. It is a full-service family friendly restaurant during lunch and dinner hours, and with two bars, plenty of large-screen HD TVs, and the finest live music in the Carolinas.

Wednesday, April 10, 2013: Crabby Mike’s Calabash Seafood Co

Located at 290 Highway 17 N in Surfside Beach folks can experience eating in either their undersea fishing world or under the awnings of the village shops. They are well known for their all you-can eat buffet, but one can select an entrée of either seafood or plenty of other selections like, chicken, prime rib or pasta.

Thursday, April 11, 2013: Ben & Jerry’s

Around the area they have four Ben & Jerry's, one at the Tanger Outlets off of 22 and Kings Road , two locations at Broadway at the Beach and one at 2005 – C Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach. Ben & Jerry’s will also have a special event at the First Citizens Bank at the entrance to Carolina Forest.

Friday, April 12, 2013: Lee’s Inlet Kitchen

They are located at 4460 Business Highway 17 in Murrells Inlet. They prepare their fresh seafood in the same Low country- Murrells Inlets style that their family did in the 1940’s.

Sunday, April 14, 2013: Captain George’s

Located directly across from Broadway at the Beach at 1401 29th Avenue N, in Myrtle Beach, they serve up a seafood buffet. Ala cart selections are also available.

Tuesday, April 16, 2013: Thorny’s Steakhouse and Saloon

Thorny’s is known for its award-winning ribs, mouth-watering Prime Rib, and succulent steaks as well as for its wonderful atmosphere. They are located at 600 South Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.

Wednesday, April 17, 2013: Texas Roadhouse Grill

Western Style Log Cabin located at 760 Coastal Grand Circle at the Coastal Grand Mall. Signature menu items are fall of the bone ribs; hand battered chicken critters, steaks, and seafood selections

Thursday, April 18, 2013: Giant Crab Seafood Restaurant

They are located at 9597 N Kings Highway; the restaurant overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway in the Restaurant Row section of Highway 17. They have over 170 Items on their Buffet and they also have a special menu items for the kids. Serving up something for everybody.

Friday, April 19, 2013: Capt. Bennetts Calabash Seafood

Located at 2900 North Kings Highway Myrtle Beach enjoy a fresh selection and even fresher seafood! At Bennetts Calabash, you’re sure to find a favorite catch among our wide variety of seafood specialties! They also serve selections for the non seafood lovers such as: prime rib, chicken and pasta.

They are located at 4640 Highway 17 S in North Myrtle Beach, next to Barefoot Landing. HOB has a new menu that is bold and classy, yet contemporary. Stop by Crossroads at the HOB and feed your soul.

Saturday, April 27, 2013: Friendly’s

Located at 4705 N Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. They serve scrumptious Super Melts and juicy Big Beef burgers to delicious salads and appetizers, a meal at Friendly’s will never disappoint. Don’t forget one of their mouthwatering ice cream creations to top it off.

Located at 950 Jason Boulevard just off 501 near Myrtle Waves Park. Burro Loco offers its patrons authentic Mexican cuisine and is known for their Cinco De Mayo celebrations.

Monday, April 29, 2013: Sea Captains House Restaurant

Located at 3002 North Ocean Blvd in Myrtle Beach. Over the years many have crossed the portals of the Sea Captain's House, enjoyed the superb dining, ocean view and warm southern hospitality that the Sea Captain's House offers. To this day, it is still known as the place for seafood where friends meet year after year.
