N. Hollywood - After consultation with community partners, the American Red Cross has closed its shelter at the North Hollywood Senior Center.

The Red Cross is in contact with those affected by the Bellingham Apartment fire and is assisting them with their recovery plans. Eleven people stayed in the shelter since its opening on February 13. The Red Cross provided a safe place to stay, food to eat and emotional support.
