Red Cross Distributes Clean-Up Supplies to Families Impacted by Severe Weather

The American Red Cross will be distributing clean up supplies for the third day to families that were impacted by flooding in Allamakee County, Iowa. The Red Cross distributed has distributed approximately 150 clean up kits since Sunday at the Waukon County Court House and will continue distributing supplies today.

What: Clean up supplies to be distributed to residents of Allamakee County who have been impacted by flooding.

When: Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Where: Allamakee County Court House, 110 Allamakee Street, Waukon, Iowa.

Governor Terry E. Branstad has issued a proclamation of disaster emergency in response to recent storms and flooding. The Governor declared a disaster in Allamakee County and has activated the Iowa Individual Assistance Program in Allamakee and Clayton counties.
