Red Cross NH Helping Residents from Hillsboro and Rochester

The American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams are groups of volunteers located throughout the state that are specially trained to provide disaster relief and emotional comfort.

American Red Cross NH is assisting five adults and two children, thirteen, and a three year old, following two New Hampshire fires today. Residents at 3 Raven Head Lane in Hillsboro and 6 King Street in Rochester were given assistance for food, clothing, and shoes. One family was also given lodging. Disaster Action Team members, Helen Champa, Brent Edmonds, Edna VonHusen and Deanna MacEachern met with the families.

The American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams are groups of volunteers located throughout the state that are specially trained to provide disaster relief and emotional comfort. They are available to respond at any time of day or night to disasters in their communities or surrounding towns.
