Manitou Springs, CO – 1:55 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 – The Red Cross has opened an evacuation center at the Historic Congregational Church in Manitou Springs. The Church is located at 103 Pawnee Ave. in Manitou Springs, Colo.
The evacuation center is in response to the threat of flash flooding due to heavy rain on the Waldo Canyon burn scar and due to the closure of U.S. 24 near Cave of the Winds.
