Red Cross Provides Canteen Support for First Responders Battling City Maintenance Shop Fire
JACKSON, MISS., THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2014 - Volunteers and staff from the American Red Cross Mississippi Capital River Chapter are providing on-scene canteen support for responders battling a building fire at the city maintenance shop in Jackson, Miss. Red Cross volunteers will remain on-scene to provide food and beverage for those involved in the response effort as long as services are needed.
All Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people.
