The recent flooding in LaSalle County left many residents with the difficult task of picking up the pieces and moving forward. The American Red Cross was there to support them before, during and after the flooding with food, shelter, supplies and emotional support.
Red Cross volunteers are continuing collaboration with local government and non-profit partners in LaSalle County to help people and communities rebuild and recover. Trained Red Cross workers will be available to speak to anyone in LaSalle County affected by the April flooding who has not yet done so at the American Legion hall on Rutland Street in Marseilles from 10 am to noon on Saturday, June 1st.
“We are committed to helping our friends and neighbors recover,” said Sarah Stasik, chapter manager. “We have already reached many families, but this event will enable us to reach more people that need our help.”
