The Red Cross is providing these residents with emergency housing and funds for food/clothing.

American Red Cross disaster responders are assisting three families (17 people, including three children) displaced by a three-alarm fire at 1029 42nd Street in Brooklyn this morning.

The Red Cross is providing these residents with emergency housing and funds for food/clothing. Residents are also expected to meet one-on-one with Red Cross caseworkers in the coming days for referrals for longer-term housing and additional services.
