Red Cross Responds to Small Wildfire Near Livermore


On Wednesday, Sept. 2, the Red Cross of Northern Colorado responded to a wildfire near Livermore by opening a shelter at Livermore Community Church at 284 CR 74 E. The shelter had 12 residents stay through the night. 

The Red Cross provided lodging and comfort for those affected, whose homes had to be evacuated overnight. Evacuation orders were lifted the morning of Thursday, Sept. 3, leading to the closure of the shelter.
